Material & Structure Customization for Rice Packaging
Rice is heavy, abrasive and sensitive to moisture and insects — so the film structure and seal width decide whether the pack survives the pallet. Our engineers recommend a laminate based on pack weight, vacuum requirement and target shelf life, then we run the lamination in-house on solvent-free and dry laminating lines, so barrier performance is controlled from film to finished bag.

We produce transparent four-side seal vacuum inner bags in PA/PE and PA/PE/EVOH at 110–180 micron, sized to your rice brick dimensions so the pack pulls down into a firm, square brick under vacuum. The nylon layer gives the puncture resistance that single-layer PE film lacks when it is pulled tight around abrasive long-grain rice, and the inner seal is set wide enough to hold vacuum through residual dust in the seal area. Send us your target brick size or your acrylic mold dimensions and we will confirm the bag size.
Digital artwork proofs are usually ready within 24–48 hours, and physical samples take 3–7 days. After you approve the sample, mass production takes 7–9 days for digital printing and 12–20 days for gravure printing. Gravure plate cost is charged once per design and drops per unit as quantity rises, so the color count has less impact on unit price than most buyers expect.
It depends on the rice type and your target shelf life. For brown rice, germinated rice and other oil-containing grains, we recommend foil-based PET/AL/PE for 12–24 months, because the foil layer blocks light and oxygen almost completely. For white rice in retail packs where the barrier demand is lower, PET/VMPET/PE gives good moisture and light barrier at a lower unit cost, and PA/PE covers vacuum inner bags.
